Shyra ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

We collect the following types of information when you use Shyra:

• Phone number — used for authentication via Firebase. We do not share your phone number with third parties.
• Conversation history — your questions and Shyra's responses are stored locally on your device. We may also log anonymised queries to improve the service.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as session frequency and feature usage, collected to improve the app experience. No personally identifiable information is attached to this data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session securely
• To provide personalised responses based on your conversation history
• To improve Shyra's knowledge base and response quality
• To communicate service updates or important notices (via the app only)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your conversation history is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). We use industry-standard security practices to protect any data transmitted to our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

4. Third-Party Services

Shyra uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and crash reporting
• Our AI backend — anonymised query processing for generating responses from the knowledge base

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Children's Privacy

Shyra is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Access information we hold about you
• Opt out of any non-essential data collection
